Euromedica Arogi Thessaloniki is a model state-of-the-art physical rehabilitation center, the only one in Southeast Europe to have received a CARF accreditation. The center offers personalised rehabilitation and recovery programs, holistically approaching patients with acute or chronic diseases. Euromedica Arogi’s aim is to maintain and improve the quality of the services provided, give people the strength to endure and overcome their condition and eventually to turn their lives around. The center uses advanced technology and techniques, in modern facilities, supported by highly-trained medical and nursing staff.
Euromedica Arogi is located near the center of Thessaloniki, in a privately-owned 16,000 sq. meters building, with 4,500 sq. meters of treatment areas, 1,200 sq. meters of indoors sports areas, 3 swimming pools, and 200 beds. The center offers rehabilitation for musculoskeletal, respiratory, neurological and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, Post-operative support and recovery, High-dependency unit, Palliative care and Bowtech therapy. It provides physical, occupational and speech therapy, hydrotherapy, psychological and nutritional support as well as robotic treatment with the use of the systems Lokomat for walking and Armeo for the upper limbs.
The center has an interdisciplinary Medical Rehabilitation Team, which plans and implements each patient’s recovery. Every ward has a head physiatrist and pathologist, while the overall team consists of Orthopaedist, Neurologist, Intensivist, Cardiologist, Pulmonologist, General Surgeon, Radiologist and Anaesthesiologist. With the aforementioned, Euromedica Arogi has succeeded in providing faster recovery, lower costs for patients due to shorter hospitalization time and a quicker return to everyday life.
